Base Building
Your Base & the Virelda
Every Pioneer gets a home base for crafting and progression — here's what's confirmed about it.

What the Virelda Is
The Virelda is Soulbound's name for your personal base of operations, built up between dungeon expeditions. It's where a large share of your permanent, out-of-dungeon progression lives.
Confirmed Features
- Player housing is part of the core game loop — every player gets one, not a late-game unlock.
- A room-layout editor lets you decorate and arrange your base.
- Crafting stations can be built and upgraded, tied to gathering and mining skills out in the overworld.
- Guild bases are planned, letting a whole guild share access to a base — though, like the auction house, this isn't confirmed for Early Access day one.
How It Connects to Dungeons
The Virelda isn't cosmetic-only: crafting stations built there turn gathered and mined materials into the gear and consumables you take into dungeon runs, closing the loop between overworld life skills and dungeon performance.
Unconfirmed: Exact base size limits, whether housing plots are instanced per player or exist in shared space, and full guild-base mechanics haven't been detailed publicly yet. We'll update this page once Early Access is live and these are testable.
