Official Gameplay Reveal Trailer
SpiderWare's official gameplay reveal trailer shows off Soulbound: Online's pixel-art combat, dungeon runs, and world ahead of the July 21, 2026 Steam Early Access launch.
What is Soulbound: Online?
Soulbound: Online drops you into a "vast digital reality" as a Pioneer — rescued by a robotic companion and hunted by a hostile collective called the Anima. Often described in community coverage as pixel-art with a cyberpunk-tinged, technological setting, the game splits into two halves: a persistent, shared overworld for farming, gathering, crafting, questing and trading, and brutal, procedurally-reshuffled instanced dungeons you tackle solo, in 3-player co-op, or in 5+ player raids. It's the Steam evolution of a browser-and-Discord game that already passed one million players, built around a 100% player-driven economy and seasonal ladder rankings.
Classless Builds
No fixed classes — swap gear to change roles. Mix 10+ ability types with 200+ upgradeable relic trees and multiple weapon archetypes, enabling 100+ unique build combinations per run.
The Virelda
Your personal base doubles as a crafting and progression hub. Upgrade stations, decorate with a room-layout editor, and eventually link up with a guild base.
Co-op Dungeons & Raids
Instanced runs for solo play, 3-player co-op, or 5+ player raids. Storm-spawned mobs, escalating boss phases, and full bag-loss on death keep every run different.
Player-Driven Economy
In-game trading is live from day one, with a 100% player-driven economy and an auction house planned to follow. Run your own blacksmith shop and sell what you forge.
Seasonal Ladders
Climb seasonal leaderboard rankings at your own pace, alongside the main story and dungeon progression.
Skill-Based Progression
No traditional kill-XP leveling — progression comes from gear level, individual skill EXP, and permanent upgrades instead. See our Leveling Guide.
