Support / Healer Build Guide — Soulbound: Online

How to gear toward keeping a co-op party alive and buffed.

What a Support Build Is Doing

A support-leaning build focuses on keeping teammates alive and empowered rather than dealing damage directly. This role becomes more valuable as dungeon difficulty rises and boss phases escalate.

What to Prioritize

  • Abilities and relics that heal, shield, or buff party members over ones that boost your own personal damage
  • Utility that helps the party recover from the storm-spawned mob pressure dungeons are built around
  • Communication with your party — since gear determines role, a support player can swap toward DPS or tank mid-run if the party composition needs it

Support Is Optional, Not Required

Because any player can respec instantly, a party doesn't strictly need a dedicated support player for easier content — but it becomes more valuable as you push toward higher dungeon tiers.

Framing note: Soulbound: Online is classless — there's no locked-in "class" to pick. Everything below is about what gear, abilities, and relics to prioritize to lean into this role; you can switch out of it anytime by changing gear. Specific ability and relic names aren't public yet, so this guide focuses on strategy rather than a fixed loadout — we'll add exact picks once Early Access is out on July 21, 2026.
